We know that our excellent examination results at GCSE and A Level might suggest that we accept only highly academic girls who are doing extremely well at junior school. In fact, we look for girls who have potential, whatever their education before joining us. We want girls to enjoy the academic work and to be able to make a contribution to College life be it in academic, music, art, sport or other spheres.

We try to make the procedure for applying for a College place as straightforward and fair as possible. If you are worried or unsure about any aspect of our admissions procedures please do not hesitate to contact the Registrar who will be pleased to advise you.

If you are considering College for your daughter, you are advised to make an enquiry as soon as possible. We hope that you find some of the information which you need via this website but please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions that you have - we appreciate what an important and difficult decision choosing a school can be. The very best thing to do is to visit us - and we hope that you do choose to come and see, for yourself, what College is all about.

Following authorisation from the International Baccalaureate Organisation, girls joining the sixth form in September 2008, will be able to choose from the existing range of A Levels offered by the school, or opt to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
