St. Helen's

Exterior of buildings

The name of St. Helen’s goes back to College's early days and the house moved into its present location in September 1933. The house was designed by Stanley Hemp and described by the Principal Miss Sparks as ‘a really beautiful example of modern building’. St Helen’s was refurbished in 2004 and Mrs Keith is the 23rd Housemistress since 1867.

  • Words to describe St Helen’s:

Friendly, caring, relaxed, fun, homely and nice!

  • Housemistress

Housemistress

My name is Lesley Keith and I have been a housemistress at St. Helen’s since 2003. Before that I had taught Physical Education in various state schools and at Cirencester College. My husband and I have a home in Cheltenham and we have two grown up sons and a lovely granddaughter. I thoroughly enjoy my role in St Helen’s and am committed to making the girls' time here happy and comfortable.

Pets

Mrs Keith has two mad dogs, Rachel the Basset Hound and Tess the Border Collie.
