CLC girl obtains top IB mark
It has been confirmed this week that College student Summer Shaw, who achieved the top mark of 45 points in her International Baccalaureate Diploma, is one of only 45 students in the UK to achieve this impressive feat.
This year just over 113,000 candidates worldwide took the IB, of whom 103 score the maximum mark. This places Summer in the elite top 0.1% of all IB students.
Summer will being taking a gap year before heading off to University in 2012. We wish her every success!
