Five Gold Medals at Biology Challenge 2012
The Biology Challenge is a competition organised annually by the Society of Biology. This year 30,000 Year 10 students across England entered this competition. Questions are answered online and are based on general biological knowledge. All UC4 girls from College were entered this year with 63% of the year group achieving an award. The results are as follows:
- 5 Gold medals
- 16 Silver medals
- 19 Bronze medals
- 26 Highly Commended Certificates
- 14 Commended Certificates
Very well done to all the girls but special mention to the girls who achieved gold medals – Domini Bowen, Maria Li, Maddie Culhane, Lottie Till and Clara Fong.
