The Cheltenham Ladies' College is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18. Founded in 1853, the College has been at the forefront of girls' education for over 150 years and has a worldwide reputation for academic excellence.

With some 865 girls, College today is a vibrant and dynamic community. Our girls thrive on expert teaching, small classes, state of the art facilities and a vast range of extra-curricular activities. Our academic results are impressive and all our girls go on to study at good universities, both in the United Kingdom and in the United States.

Located near the heart of the beautiful Regency town of Cheltenham, this is a nurturing environment where girls benefit from participation in the local community. Our comfortable and homely Boarding and Day houses are a short distance from College and girls walk regularly to and fro, developing a sense of responsibility and independence from an early age.

We aim to instil in each and every one of our girls a set of attributes, skills and values that will enable them to make informed choices, be responsible and principled citizens, enjoy career success and achieve personal fulfilment. It matters to us that they not only enjoy their academic studies whilst they are with us but that they have fun, forging strong and lasting friendships that will sustain them throughout their adult lives.

Our girls are enterprising, friendly and ambitious and they have wonderful purpose and energy. Our staff are dedicated, creative and talented. It is a privilege to lead this remarkable school.

I do hope you will want to come and experience the unique atmosphere of The Cheltenham Ladies' College for yourself.

I look forward to welcoming you and your family.
