Catering

Our experienced and imaginative catering team can create a range of mouth-watering menus for large wedding banquets, small business lunches or private parties. Whatever your requirements, we can suggest menus, or work with you to design a menu for any occasion, catering for a range of dietary requirements. We are licensed to provide wine or beer, but if you prefer to bring your own alcohol this is equally acceptable.

Our catering department operate in a professional environment, with a variety of qualified chefs, with experience varying from hotels, contract catering, cruise ship catering and the forces, to working alongside Rick Stein and James Martin. The department has catered for a luncheon to celebrate the Queen's visit to College and achieved the industries accolade of the Hospitality Assured Award.

Sample Menus

Menus can be created to fit your requirements. The following are sample ideas only. Please ask if you would like to discuss ideas in more detail.

Menu 1

 

  • Warm mini quiches
  • Fresh asparagus with Parma ham
  • Chicken selection with sour cream & chive dip
  • Vegetable selection (peppers, cucumber, carrot etc) with dips
  • Indian selections with yogurt dip or breaded prawns with sweet chilli dip
  • Sherry trifle
  • Baked vanilla Cheesecake with strawberry compote
  • Cheese board, biscuits, celery & grapes.
  • Filled bridge rolls:Egg & cress,Gammon & tomato,Cheese, celery & mayonnaise,Chicken mayonnaise & salad
  • Open sandwiches:Smoked salmon & cream cheese,Beef and onion marmalade,Plum tomato & basil
  • Additional selection for children: Pizza fingers, Sausage Rolls, Cheese rolls, Selection of crisps, Chocolate brownie or chocolate muffin
  • Bensons Apple Juice
  • Orange Juice
  • Sparkling water
  • Jugs of water
  • Tea & coffee

Menu 2

  • Provencal beef daube (diced beef braised in red wine, tomatoes and olives)
  • Feta and spinach pie with a tomato relish
  • Dauphinoise potatoes
  • New potatoes
  • Broccoli florets
  • Roast vegetables
  • Plum and almond tart served with clotted cream
  • Coffee and chocolates

Menu 3

  • Meat platter with olives, roasted peppers and cherry tomatoes
  • Chorizo sausage, sliced salami, Parma ham
  • Smoked gammon, Selection of cold pies served with a hot zingy apple salsa and pickles
  • Salmon and watercress with a lemon crème frâiche dressing
  • Savoury Feta cheesecake
  • Cheese board
  • Peach & watercress salad
  • Tomato & basil
  • Dressed mixed green salad
  • Roasted vegetable, mixed fresh herbs and cous cous
  • Caesar salad
  • Red cabbage and watercress coleslaw
  • New potatoes
  • Crusty bread
  • Summer puddings with a mixed fruit coulis
