Pre-assessments are available for those applying to join LC1 and LC2, who are registered and have College as their first choice school.
These assessments take place between February and October in the year prior to your daughter’s entry to College. The assessment is not a required part of the admissions process but many applicants find it useful.
Pre-assessments are friendly and informal and do not require specific preparation beforehand. They are small group sessions lasting approximately 90 minutes in which your daughter will spend time with 2-3 other candidates and a member of the College Admissions Assessment Team. Girls will have the opportunity to discuss their particular interests and undertake some creative writing, as well as some sample entrance test questions in maths and verbal reasoning. Approximately one week after the session, you will receive an individualised written report from the Director of Admissions in which our assessment of the likely outcome for your daughter in our formal entrance examinations will be summarised.
If you would like to arrange an assessment appointment, please contact the
Admissions Department; it is advisable to book early.
