Pre-assessments are available for those applying to join LC1 and LC2, who are registered and have College as their first choice school.

These assessments take place between February and October in the year prior to your daughter’s entry to College. The assessment is not a required part of the admissions process but many applicants find it useful.

Pre-assessments are friendly and informal and do not require specific preparation beforehand. They are one-to-one sessions lasting approximately 75 minutes in which your daughter will spend time with a member of the Admissions Assessment Team discussing her interests and undertaking some creative writing plus some sample entrance test style questions in maths and verbal reasoning. Parents receive short verbal feedback at the time of the assessment, followed by a summary report from the Director of Admissions in which our assessment of the likely outcome for a candidate, in our entrance examinations, will be given.

If you would like to arrange an assessment appointment, please contact the
Admissions Department; it is advisable to book early.
