Acting Housemistress: Dr Charlotte Campton
I joined College in September 2018 as Housemistress, having previously worked as an English teacher and Head of Upper School Enrichment at a boarding school in Derbyshire, and before that, completing my doctoral studies at Exeter University.
I live in Cambray with my husband Paul, who is a laser engineer, our daughter Romilly, and cat Bootsy. We love going to the theatre and the cinema, and are avid readers when time allows! We also enjoy exploring the beautiful countryside around Cheltenham.
Cambray is an open and supportive community. The girls enjoy a ‘home-from-home’ environment, which enables them to pursue their ambitions knowing that they are cared for and encouraged in all aspects of their lives at CLC. The House offers the girls a balance of structure and independence, and ensures that they always have support at hand – from the encouraging House Staff to the House Committee, School Prefects or peer mentors.
We are hugely proud of the girls’ achievements and do all we can to help them to feel empowered in everything they do.
Housemistress: Mrs Anita Mukasa
I joined Cheltenham Ladies’ College in September 2014.
Prior to this I was at Mount St Mary’s College, a stone’s throw from Sheffield. I am a teacher at heart, with experience in German, Religious Education and English.
My husband Herbert, a dentist by training, lives in the house with me.
With a dedicated and caring team of five House Staff, the girls can look forward to a vibrant, creative, focused yet homely atmosphere from all corners of the planet in a cultural melting pot.
