St Austin's

Caroline 2

Acting Housemistress: Miss Caroline Ralph

Miss Ralph, Head of Pastoral Care, will provide senior residential support in St Austin’s for the next two terms and will be on hand for the girls, staff and parents. Her eight years as a boarding Housemistress at College, combined with her seven years as Head of Pastoral Care, make her ideally suited to support the House.

She will be supported by Mrs Julia Hamilton, acting Senior Lead and Miss Hayley Mitchell, acting Second Deputy Housemistress, as well as other staff members, including former CLC Housemistress Mrs Ro Kaye and Mrs Jill Hill, Lead Nurse.

Housemistress: Miss Laura Graham (joining March 2019)

Miss Graham has been a Housemistress and Head of Girls’ Boarding at a school in Scotland for over six years, and believes in the holistic development of young people.

Having qualified in Geography and trained as a teacher in Edinburgh, Miss Graham is also an experienced debater and has coached LAMDA and public speaking. She is also a county netball player and qualified umpire.

Miss Graham takes up her role at College in March 2019, and will be joined by her partner Ross and beloved dog Bramble. Until then, she will be in contact with the St Austin’s community and will be visiting the House for a short time around Christmas and during the Spring Term.

St Austin's is one of College's oldest boarding houses, and has been in its present location since 1933. The House has a friendly and warm atmosphere and the girls are known for being fun-loving, energetic and caring.
