Housemistress: Mrs Lola Roca-Aguilera
I have been working in College for over 12 years, having previously lived in Bristol.
I live in St Hilda’s with my husband Jochen who works in International Education and we have a son, Cassian, who is a very busy Chorister. As well as being Housemistress I belong to the Modern Languages Department, where I coach Spanish.
I have lived and worked in several countries and I thoroughly enjoy travelling and reading about other cultures.
In my spare time I enjoy meeting friends and whenever we have an exeat, we love travelling to London to enjoy a West End production.
The House environment is warm and welcoming, and the girls are given the tools to learn to be more independent and ready to face life after the sixth form. Our girls enjoy greater levels of freedom and at the same time take more responsibility for their own time, learning to plan effectively and with self-confidence!
St Hilda’s remains a thriving community and we are always proud of our girls’ numerous achievements.
