We have a long history of our girls securing places in world-leading universities. Nearly all girls go on to university, either applying during their final year in Sixth Form or after receiving their examination results. Even with post-result applications, the PGC and a girl's tutor are on hand to write her application references, and advise and support our girls in pursuing their aims.
The subjects chosen by our girls always represent a true A to Z of university courses, from Arabic and Spanish to Zoology. Recent choices have included: Applied Medical Sciences, Architecture, Linguistics, Neuroscience, Psychology, Fashion Design, Environmental Policy with Economics, Art Foundation, Computing, Law, the KPMG School Leavers’ Scheme and Veterinary Nursing.
We are extremely proud of the achievements of our leavers. Following excellent examination results in the summer of 2016 and including our 2015 post-result applicants, 166 College girls took up places on university and higher education courses this year and are studying an extraordinary range of subjects in the UK and abroad.
A total of 120 girls are going on to Russell Group institutions in the UK and 13 girls will be studying at Ivy League and other prestigious universities in the US, whilst others will be attending leading institutions in Europe and Asia. We also have 11 girls who will be studying Medicine and 13 who are beginning Law degrees.
We continue to enjoy Oxbridge success with 18 girls receiving offers from Oxford or Cambridge so far this year. Over the last six years, the most popular university destinations for our leavers were UCL, Oxford, Bristol, Cambridge and Edinburgh.
