St Hilda's
Housemistress: Mrs Lola Roca-Aguilera
I have been working in College for over a decade, having previously lived and worked in Bristol.
I live in St Hilda’s with my husband Jochen who also works in an independent school and we have a son, Cassian, who is 16 and loves singing and playing hockey. As well as being Housemistress, I belong to the Modern Languages Department, where I teach Spanish in Lower College (Years 7, 8 and 9).
I have lived and worked in several countries, speak four languages and I thoroughly enjoy travelling and reading about other cultures.
In my spare time I enjoy meeting friends and whenever we have an Exeat, we love travelling to London to enjoy a West End production.
The House environment is warm and welcoming, and the girls are given the tools to learn to be more independent and ready to face life after Sixth Form. Our girls enjoy greater levels of freedom and at the same time take more responsibility for themselves, learning to plan effectively and with self-confidence!
Together with my superb team of House Staff, led by Deputy Housemistress Miss Williams and House staff Mrs Russell and Mrs Horlock, we would be delighted to welcome you to our thriving community where we will help you fulfil your potential.
