On Thursday 9th October, a group of UC5 and SFC1 students met with Guild and Council Member, and Mechanical Engineer, Lisa Norcross.
Lisa shared her thoughts on her career in engineering and consultancy and gave students a brief tour of the ‘road less travelled by’. From work with Ford, E.ON and McKinsey to an exciting new venture in Germany, students gained a valuable insight into how engineering and a flexible mindset can lead to a rich and varied career.
They also found out that the food in Cambray is much better now than it was in the 1990s!
