2018 UK Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge

Shortly after Half Term, LC3 girls took part in the first round of the 2018 UK Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge. This is a timed challenge that consists of a set of short tasks that are fun, engaging, and based on real problems faced by computer scientists.

Congratulations to Yuhan for achieving the highest score in Gloucestershire and securing a place in the national final, which will be held at The University of Oxford in February.

Thirty girls placed in the top ten percent nationally; they were awarded a Distinction and received an invitation to the TCS Oxford Computing Challenge.
