Adventure Club Residential Weekend
On Friday 17th May, 23 LC1, LC2, and LC3 girls visited Snowdonia for an adventure weekend.
After spending Friday night in the bunkhouse, the girls had an early start on Saturday, spending the morning and much of the afternoon walking up Snowdon via the Ranger Path.
The girls then had an hour to enjoy a hot chocolate and get changed before setting off to the Beacon Climbing Centre, where they participated in crazy climbing and some of the other 15m walls, including a replica of the Olympic speed climbing route. They then returned to the bunkhouse for supper and cake.
The girls were up early again on Sunday morning, cleaning the bunkhouse and then setting off for the National White Water Centre. The girls were divided into four rafts, putting on wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and helmets, and setting off for a safety briefing before completing four runs down the river.
Overall, it was a very busy weekend, but one which was enjoyed by all!
