Caledonian Ball at Radley College

Fast, furious but most of all, fun. Reeling at Radley College’s Sixth Form Caledonian Ball, did not disappoint.

Following a drinks reception at Mansion, and supper in the beautiful surroundings of the College’s Dining Hall, the Radley boys invited their guests from Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Downe House and Malvern St James to the dance floor.

With Tulloch Turns at the ready, the Eightsome and 51st Reels proved worthy adversaries to the boundless energy of all participants in this 'full contact sport'. Outside, February’s temperatures may have been plummeting but inside Strip the Willow and Dashing White Sergeant were most definitely the order of the day.

A wonderful evening was had by all. Thank you to Mr John Carver for his impeccable calling and to the staff and students of Radley College for hosting a splendid evening of tartans, reels and troos.
