CLC Flourish Gala raises £125,000

On Saturday evening, members of the CLC community joined together to support the Health and Fitness Centre currently being built at Field.

Guests enjoyed champagne and gin cocktails in the sunshine on the terrace of Stowell Park near Cirencester, by kind permission of Lord and Lady Vestey, whose daughter is a former pupil of College. This was followed by a three-course dinner and entertainment in the marquee.

Six West End stars, including Les Miserables’ Samantha Barks, and our CLC Flourish choir provided the outstanding entertainment for the evening. The College Choir included Lulu Goad, Catalina Carret, Julia Lee, Tamilore Ayo-Famola, Henrietta Buchanan-Michaelson, Katharine Wood and Abi Owen. An auctioneer completed the bidding on a number of items from the online auction, and the evening finished with dancing to a live band.

College would like to thank the Gala Committee and all those who supported this memorable event, from the attendees to the sponsors, and those who donated or bid on items in the auction. The amount raised, which reached a fantastic £125,000, makes a significant contribution to our fundraising efforts for the new Health and Fitness Centre, due to open in 2018.
