CLC Flourish Hong Kong Gala raises £150,000
On Thursday 2nd November, more than 270 members of the CLC community came together at the Aberdeen Marina Club in Hong Kong for a wonderful evening, celebrating the girls of CLC and hearing about future plans for College from the Principal. The evening started with drinks, where the UC4 girls enthusiastically sold tickets for the raffle. Guests were then treated to a five-course meal with wine, during which current CLC girls performed and nine amazing lots were auctioned.
Our MCs for the evening were UC5 girls Kylie Tsang and Yvette Yao, a dance performance was given by Rachel Tcheng and Anson Law and Christy Lam sang for us. A panel of girls of all ages discussed their time at College, including Tallulah Thompson LC2, Hannah Kwong LC3, Kristy Chan UC4, Anson Law UC5, Alana Tang SFC1 and Jackalyn Chan SFC2, chaired by Stephanie Fong SFC2.
Our thanks go to all our attendees, to those who donated auction and raffle items and to the Gala Committee, who worked tirelessly to make the event such a success. The committee were Co-Chairs Christina Gaw Donohugh and Joyce Liu, Sabrina Pang Fung, Helena Tung Pong, Su-Mei Thompson, Florence Tsang and Joyce Krakhofer-Wang.
The event raised an impressive £150,000 and all funds raised are part of the CLC Flourish campaign, funding women of the future.
