Girls decorate bikes for the Tour of Britain

Girls at College have been helping to prepare for the Tour of Britain cycle race, which will reach the streets of Montpellier tomorrow (Saturday 9th September).

The town is set to host the end of the penultimate stage of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain, as the world’s top professional cyclists race through the Cotswolds to arrive in Cheltenham.

Using everything from flowers, ribbons and brightly coloured tape to patterned paper, sheet music and pom poms, the girls have been busy painting and decorating unwanted bicycles for organisers to place along the route and across the town, ahead of the cyclists arriving tomorrow.

Thanks go to all the girls across College for their excellent efforts, including girls in Glengar, Bellairs, St Clare and Sidney Lodge.
