Operation Christmas Child
Parents who were meeting with Mrs Oosthuizen in the last week of term may have been forgiven for thinking she had turned her office into a shoebox warehouse. Instead, however, it was just part one of the chaotic but enjoyable LC1 and LC2 Operation Christmas Child project.
The girls have been bringing in items for these shoeboxes since exeat, and the last Friday of term saw the boxes wrapped and filled. Staff from across College, as well as Lower College tutors, Mrs Oosthuizen and Mr Forward-Davies, all joined in the fun.
The theme in Lower College for the girls the second half of term was 'letting your light shine'; we really hope the gifts will bring some light to those who otherwise would have nothing. All in all, College sent 120 boxes to Operation Christmas Child.
