More than 80 parents gathered for dinner with the Principal, ahead of joining the girls in the Princess Hall to hear from the keynote speaker and see the award ceremony.
Guests enjoyed hearing from Director of Sport, Andy Borrie, about the achievements at College over the last year, including the completion of the Health and Fitness Centre. Mr Borrie also spoke about the success of our teams, including our rowers, who are now 10th in the UK, and a renewed focus on sports and activities such as fencing and dance.
The Health and Fitness Centre will be officially opened on Saturday 30th June by Baroness Sue Campbell during a day of celebration for the whole CLC community.
Opportunities still exist to support the project including sponsoring a tile on the terrace for £250 or supporting the new gym equipment or spaces in the building.
Phase two of the development will take place this summer and will include resurfacing the hockey astroturf, refurbishing the original sports hall and swimming pool, and a new climbing wall.
