Badminton

Jasmine, Jenny, Sugar and Hannah recently competed at the U16 District Badminton Tournament at Cheltenham Bournside School, finishing in a very impressive 2nd place.

Cross Country

Congratulations to Mia and Emma who qualified to represent Cheltenham and District at the Gloucestershire County Cross Country Championships.

Despite a muddy fall, Mia held on to 10th place in the intermediate race, and has now qualified to represent Gloucestershire at the South West Championships in Bath in February.

In the minors' race, Emma ran with great determination to finish 15th, and has been named as a reserve for Nationals in Loughborough in March.

Fencing

Christy and Poppy took part in a European U17 circuit event in Finland recently. Both girls competed strongly in their individual events and finished in an excellent 15th position in the team event.

Jeanna took gold in the U18 West Midlands competition, qualifying for the British Youth Fencing Championships in Sheffield.

Equestrian

Martha, Lily and Ursula rode superbly well last weekend, placing 2nd and qualifying for the Championships at Hickstead later in the season.

Ursula was placed 6th individually.

Swimming

In the County Swimming Championships, Karintha, Anastasia and Éire all produced close to season-best times, whilst Kathlyn gained silver in the 400m Individual Medley and qualified for the finals in all but one of her events.

Skiing

Last weekend, Deputy Housemistress (Cambray) and Teacher of Classics Zara Crockett headed to the Swiss Alpine resort of Mürren to compete in the world's longest downhill ski race. Racing in aid of Barts Charity, she completed the run in a time of 24:12:96 - well done Zara!
