U18 Mollie D'Arcy-Rice

U16 Maddie Peel
U15 Olivia Freer

EQUESTRIAN

Congratulations to the Equestrian team (Charlotte McDowall, Amy Hine, Scarlett Paton and Molly Hughes) for winning the team event in Class 4 and 5 at the NSEA Show Jumping event. Well done to Amy Hine on her individual finishes in these classes, placing 3rd and 4th.

Equestrian successes during the summer holiday include:

1) The CLC Equestrian team finished 1st in our region in the National Schools' Equestrian Association Regional Points League for last year - we will therefore be at the NSEA National Championships in October.

2) Charlotte McDowall was selected to represent GB in dressage at the upcoming Pony European Championships in Denmark. Charlotte also competed at CDI Diepenbeek in Belgium, coming 5th individually.

3) Amy Hine was selected to compete in the National Pony Club Eventer Challenge at Blenheim on 9th September.

4) Alina Sverdlova qualified for the Regional Pony Club championships for Midlands and Wales at Grassroots.

5) Florence von Simson came 4th at the Dauntsey's (British Eventing) BE90 in July.

Congratulations to all the girls on their achievements.

PRESEASON

Pre-season training was a great success, with over 200 girls training in hockey, netball, rowing and lacrosse.

The College teams are looking great and, on behalf of Captains' Club, we would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a brilliant season ahead. Go Team CLC!
