TeenTech Awards 2019
The TeenTech Awards were established in 2012-13 to encourage students aged 11-18 to see how they might apply science and technology to real-world problems. They encourage students to develop their own ideas for making life better, simpler, safer or more fun. There are 20 categories that students can enter their innovations towards, each aimed at tackling key societal and environmental issues using the power of science, technology and engineering.
We are most proud of the 44 girls who won various awards as the result of this competition, and CLC has been awarded a 'Centre of Innovation and Creativity' (Silver).
Special congratulations to Joycelyne and Lorna whose entries were selected to represent CLC at the National Finals held at the Institution of Engineering and Technology, London on Monday 24th June for their entries in the categories Best Innovative Concept and Best Model/Prototype respectively.
