United Nations Outstanding Youth Delegate Award
Congratulations to Trinity who has received the Outstanding Youth Delegate Award for the 2018 Winter Youth Assembly at the United Nations.
After a rigorous selection process, Trinity was selected as one of two winners of the prestigious award, based on her outstanding work and her "persistence, motivation, and passion".
Trinity was awarded with a plaque marking her achievement and enjoyed the unique opportunity of delivering an inspirational speech to more than 1,000 youth delegates about her commitment to the success of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Trinity's speech at the UN Youth Assembly in New York is available to watch at UN Web TV (57:12).
Across a number of her projects, Trinity has been strongly supported by fellow CLC students.
Working closely with Dina, Isabelle and Clara, Trinity set up 'Girls for CS', a student-led initiative dedicated to enabling more students to gain access to education and harnessing the power of technology in order to learn from each other.
Alongside co-founders Audrey and Kehinde, as well as ambassadors Ekaterina, Ella, Mint, Clara, Maia, Saskia, India, Tireni and Antonina, Trinity has also established 'Discuss for Change (D4C)', an initiative that aims to educate and encourage discussions about global issues.
Well done to Trinity on her outstanding achievement, and to all the girls for their work towards these inspirational initiatives and global projects.
