Once you have decided that CLC is the right option for your daughter, register as soon as possible via our Admissions Portal.
Return an Entrance Exam Form
Registered parents will be sent a link to an Entrance Exam Form to complete. This confirms you want to go ahead with your daughter's application and enter her for the Assessment Day.
Assessments
Assessments are an important part of the entry process, and a great opportunity for us to meet our candidates. During assessments, we get to know candidates as learners and potential members of our community.
Offers
Our team of assessors review each candidate’s performance. Our decision to offer a place is a holistic one based on the assessment day feedback, performance in the entrance exams and the reference we request from her current Head Teacher.
Join
Parents are given access to an online portal containing our joining information and forms to be completed.
If you're hoping to join us in September 2028 or beyond, your next step is to fill in an Enquiry Form, so we have your details, and book into an Open Day to come and see our school in action. Our Admissions team will keep in touch for when it is time to start the registration process. Or, you may wish to consider applying to join us at 13+.
If you have missed the application deadlines we are occasionally able to fast track an application, although we cannot guarantee that this will result in a place. For a conversation about late entry options for your daughter, please complete an Enquiry Form via our Admissions Portal, and a member of the team will get back to you.
We do not offer scholarships or bursaries for Year 10 (14+ / UC4) entry.
Our Scholarship Programme covers Academics, Music, Art and Sports. Scholarships provide talented students with extra tuition, networking events and opportunities to develop their skills.
Scholarships do not carry a fee remission, but our means-tested bursaries do.
We are currently welcoming bursary applications for LC1 (Year 7/11+) Day and Sixth Form (16+) Day and Boarding Find out more through the links below.
Care, Support and Community
Within houses, students form close bonds, whilst also making friends in other houses through their school lessons and the many social events throughout the year.
Our experienced tutoring and pastoral staff help them settle into College, adapt to their new routine, and remain with them through their GCSE exams.
Though grades are a focus, the teaching here is far more about developing curiosity and confidence.
