Peace of mind, wherever your job takes you
Frequent relocations, overseas postings and changing circumstances can make choosing the right school even more important. At Cheltenham Ladies' College, we provide the stability, continuity and sense of belonging that internationally mobile families value.
We welcome applications from Armed Forces and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office families, in receipt of a Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA). Whether you're planning ahead or responding to a new posting, our Admissions team will be happy to discuss your circumstances and guide you through the options available.
A supportive boarding community
Our full boarding community offers girls the opportunity to enjoy consistency in their education, friendships and co-curricular life from Year 7 to Year 13, even when family circumstances change.
Every pupil becomes part of a close-knit House where she is known, supported and encouraged to thrive. With girls joining us from across the UK and around the world, new pupils quickly become part of a diverse and welcoming community.
Built for Curiosity
At Cheltenham Ladies' College, every girl is encouraged to explore her interests and shape her own path. Academically, students can choose from more than 30 subjects, benefit from flexible timetabling rather than fixed option blocks, and select either A Levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the Sixth Form.
Beyond the classroom, there are countless ways to discover new passions, build confidence and develop lifelong transferable skills. With an extensive weekend programme of trips and activities, a long-established volunteering scheme and more than 150 co-curricular clubs, every girl is encouraged to make the most of College life. Whether her interests lie in Duke of Edinburgh, percussion, lacrosse, musical theatre, sign language or photography, every opportunity helps prepare her for a fearless future.
Supporting internationally mobile families
We have extensive experience welcoming pupils joining us from overseas and from a wide range of educational systems. Our pastoral and academic teams are experienced in helping girls settle into College life, build confidence and make a successful transition, whatever their previous school or curriculum.
For ease, we offer an online transport booking service, enabling airport transfers and personalised routes to destinations across the UK, with shared transport arranged wherever possible to help keeps costs down.
Financial support
Eligible Armed Forces and FCDO families in receipt of a Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA) can use this towards fees. Families wishing to explore additional fee remission beyond the CEA should apply via Beale Award means-tested bursary programme which helps talented girls access a Cheltenham Ladies' College education, regardless of financial circumstances.
