Pastoral Care

At CLC, each student is nurtured, supported and empowered to develop their hopes and ambitions for life beyond CLC. We recognise that adolescence is challenging, so we provide a secure and supportive community where pupils can flourish and gain the confidence, skills and resilience needed to lead happy, healthy and purposeful lives.

We want to ensure that every student at College feels supported, happy and fulfilled during their time with us. Life isn’t without challenges, but having people alongside you to help you face those ups and downs is really, really important.

We handle sensitive issues with care, encouraging pupils to express their views and discuss challenging topics at a pace that feels comfortable.

Pupils have access to trained peer support, school counsellors, specialist staff and, when appropriate, external professionals.

We celebrate the positive moments through sport, creative arts and community activities across Houses and College, ensuring pupils have space to enjoy fun, connection and laughter simply for the joy of it.
