Fearless
Minds

At Cheltenham Ladies' College, we are here to nurture fearless individuals, ready to take on the future with curiosity, courage and compassion. The world needs more than just good grades. We help our students to find the confidence to step into the world, and dare to make a difference.

Why Cheltenham
Ladies' College?

Because education here is about more than achievement.

It is about inquisitive minds, brave hearts and strong values. Exceptional teaching, breadth of opportunity and a supportive community encourages students to explore ideas, take intellectual risks and discover their strengths.

The result: confident young women ready for university, ready for the workplace and ready to shape the future.

Introducing our Fearless Futures Ambassadors
As they stepped out of their comfort zone to take on their new roles for the first time, we asked our Sixth Formers and Fearless Futures Ambassadors, Isla, Zara, Sarah, Helena and Kip, about what courage and fearlessness means to them.
Fearless Conversations
What does it mean to be Fearless?
We believe in Fearless Futures for our students. But how do we encourage our students to be more courageous? We asked Jemima Edney, Head of College, and Eve Jardine-Young, Executive Principal what fearlessness means to them.

Become A Pupil

Our Admissions team is on hand to make your application process as seamless as possible. Every year we have over 150 students join College, becoming part of a vibrant, diverse and fearless community of over 820 students.

For many of our new boarders, joining Cheltenham Ladies’ College will be the first time they have left home for any considerable period. Whether coming from the UK or overseas, our house system is structured to allow new boarders to settle in quickly, with older girls supporting and nurturing younger pupils in “House families”.

For many families, being a Day pupil offers the best of both worlds. Students are fully integrated into the College community - learning, building friendships and leading alongside boarders. Wraparound care before and after school, local bus routes and occasional boarding spaces give families flexibility, whilst ensuring that students benefit from every opportunity available to them.
