The power of curiosity

We develop and nurture fearless individuals with curious minds.

At CLC, we provide educational experiences that are deliberately wide and expansive, encouraging and supporting pupils to explore opportunities and possibilities, to question as well as answer, to think as well as learn, and to develop the curiosity and confidence to choose their own path.

Results and Beyond

Our consistently excellent GCSE, A Level and IB Diploma results reflect the hard work of our students and teachers. We are incredibly proud of them.

After CLC

Students go on to universities across the world, from top UK institutions and US Colleges, to Europe, Asia and Australia. On leaving CLC, our alumnae become members of Guild, a global network offering events, advice, careers support and opportunities.

The CLC Journey

One of the defining strengths of a CLC education is that pupils are not fitted into a single pathway. Instead, students are empowered to shape an academic journey that reflects their ambitions, strengths and passions.

Discover

At CLC we know how important it is to feel happy and settled, especially when moving schools and perhaps boarding for the first time.

Years 7 and 8 make up our Lower College division, where students are encouraged to develop the confidence to fail as well as succeed in a vibrant and fun environment where friendships and community thrive.

Develop

At CLC we don’t expect perfection, instead we develop and nurture potential.

Years 9 - 11 make up our Upper College division, where students are encouraged to develop independence, make informed choices, and nurture the self-belief to believe nothing is beyond their reach, as they head into their GCSE years.

Define

At CLC, girls thrive in the classroom and far beyond it, and this is never truer than in Sixth Form.

CLC offers the perfect balance of a supportive environment where students are encouraged to choose their own path, define their future, and begin developing a strong sense of independence, supported by our pastoral care and an extensive wellbeing programme to ensure they thrive emotionally and academically.

Impact

After their time at CLC, students join Guild, our global alumnae community, connecting thousands of alumnae across generations through lifelong learning, careers support, and a range of transformative opportunities.

"What CLC is, is a quiet rebellion of women leaving the world as a better place they found it." - Hannah, CLC Guild

Departments

The academic departments at CLC take pride in their excellent results, across more than 30 subjects, as well as the range of enriching lessons, activities, conferences, clubs and trips on offer.

World-Class Facilities

Mixing tradition and innovation, our facilities range from beautifully maintained 1800s buildings to our modern Health & Fitness Centre, Parabola Arts Centre, and our brand new Sixth Form Centre, set to open next academic year.

Scholars

Our Scholars play a key role in the life of College, with opportunities designed to challenge them to think critically.

Our tailored Scholarship Programme is designed to stretch and inspire our scholars, through enrichment and experiences beyond the curriculum, under the banner of Forum42.
