Sixth Form Centre: Construction Update
Sixth Form Centre: Construction Update
Work on Cheltenham Ladies' College's new world-leading Sixth Form Centre is well underway.
This exciting project, which is moving at pace, includes the demolition of internal walls and structural alterations to make way for the innovative spaces and relaxation zones that will host our sixth formers going forward and will provide a learning environment that mirrors a university education.
Last week, our photographer went 'behind the scenes' to take a look at the progress so far.
The new Zarith Sofiah Centre will promote intellectual excellence and wellbeing for all our Sixth Form students, through an inclusive and accessible environment, that is supported by world-class teaching facilities and prepares our students for university, work and life.
The centre will include an employability suite, debating chamber, cafe, creative spaces, learning pods, and much more.
It will encourage academic confidence, self-motivation and resilience, through real-world professional experiences and environments that reflect a higher education setting.
