Chemistry Olympiad 2026

On Wednesday 28th January, 50 girls from UC5-SFC2 opted in to sit the UK Chemistry Olympiad, the leading chemistry competition for students in Britain, a unique opportunity for students to push themselves further and excel in chemistry.

Official results will be with us in late March. Three students performed well enough to have their scripts sent to Cambridge to be moderated and considered for the second round, which leads on to the UK International Chemistry Olympiad Team.

Congratulations to all who took part, and in particular to Izzy (SFC2), Sissi (SFC1) and Zoe (SFC1).

Fingers crossed for some gold awards for the revamp of the CLC Chemistry Legends board!
