Dance Showcase 2023

Dance Showcase 2023: Sleeping Beauty

On 1st and 2nd December, 81 students from various age groups at College graced the stage in a spellbinding rendition of Sleeping Beauty in two sold-out performances.

The performances were a culmination of months of hard work and commitment by both students and dance teachers. It gave students the opportunity to showcase their amazing dance skills. Their dazzling costumes added a touch of magic to the performances, creating an unforgettable experience for the audience.

The show was choreographed by the CLC dance teachers, with auditions held at the end of the summer term, giving students an opportunity to vie for solo and duet roles. Well done to all who participated and contributed to making this production truly special.

Special mention to Lulu (SFC2), who has been dancing at College since LC3. Lulu took on the main roles of both Carabosse and Prince Desiré, meaning she was on stage in all four Acts; her energy and characterisation did not waiver - well done Lulu!
