Enterprise 10 Challenge
Enterprise 10 Challenge
Last term, ten CLC teams took part in the Enterprise 10 project, which was an exciting and rewarding experience. We chose our teams and were given the challenge of creating our own products with just £10, which the Economics Department gave us.
Each team had multiple leadership roles within it, including a Project Manager, Marketing Director and Financial Director. During enrichment sessions on Saturday mornings, the teams came together to execute their business plans and create their products. These included washbags, bracelets, keyrings, charms, and even clip-on cats!
Being part of Enterprise 10 helped us learn important skills, including communication, time management and financial literacy.
After collecting the final profits at the beginning of the Summer Term, the ten teams made over £1000, which was a fantastic achievement as all the money went to our College charities (Gloucestershire Young Carers and Longfield Hospice).
Many thanks to everyone who bought items and supported the project!
