A first look at life, learning and boarding at Cheltenham Ladies’ College

Designed especially for girls in Year 5 and Year 6, The CLC Experience is a four-night residential programme that blends learning, creativity and adventure in a safe, nurturing environment.

Dates: 6th - 10th April 2026 (4 nights, 5 days)
Eligibility: Girls in Year 5 or 6 / aged 9–11
Cost: £1,550 (all-inclusive, including boarding, meals, tuition, activities, day trip and return London coach transfer)
Location: Cheltenham Ladies’ College, GL50 3EP

What's included?

This short stay offers a gentle introduction to boarding life at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, encouraging curiosity, confidence and new friendships through a carefully curated mix of academic tasters and fun afternoon activities.

Morning academic tasters

Delivered by CLC staff, each morning introduces girls to subjects that spark imagination and encourage discovery — such as Science, Languages, Humanities and Creative Thinking. Sessions are hands-on, energetic and designed to build confidence.

Creative & sporting afternoons

Afternoons offer opportunities to explore new skills, from arts and crafts to sports and team challenges. Our aim is to build creativity, collaboration and joyful learning — all within our beautiful campus grounds.

Day trip to a wildlife park

A highlight of the programme, the trip brings learning to life and offers girls the chance to enjoy a shared adventure with new friends.

Boarding experience

Participants stay in our modern boarding houses, supported by trained residential staff who create a warm, welcoming “home from home”.
Girls experience community life, shared meals, structured downtime and fun evening activities.

Travel included

The programme fee includes coach travel to and from a central London pick-up point, making the week accessible for London families.
