As the top independent school in the South West, Cheltenham Ladies' College has a large number of day pupils travelling from across Gloucestershire, as well as the Cotswolds and the Stroud Valleys, South Worcestershire, and further afield.
Many of our day pupils opt to use our reliable daily bus services, with convenient pick-up and drop-off points for students across these key areas.
College provides a reliable daily bus services for local day students. The routes are designed to make school travel easier for our families, and run on Monday to Saturday mornings and Monday to Friday evenings throughout term time.
The routes serve key locations across Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and the Stroud Valleys, as well as into South Worcestershire, ensuring convenient pick-up and drop-off points.
This service runs in conjunction with other independent schools in Cheltenham, and our provider offers a user-friendly app for parents to book journeys, track their child’s bus in real time, and stay updated on schedules.
Termly bus passes are available covering regular morning and evening journeys, with options also available for ad hoc travel when needed.

Route A - Broadway
This bus starts at Broadway, then calling at Toddington, Winchcombe, Gretton, Gotherington, Bishops Cleeve, Southham Prestbury and Cheltenham Racecourse, before reaching College. The bus then provides the same journey in reverse once the school day has finished.
Route B - Moreton-in-March and Burford
This bus calls at Moreton-on-Marsh and Burford, as well as stopping Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Sherborne, Northleach and Andoversford, before reaching College. This bus also runs from College in the evening, once the school day has finished.
Route C - Ashton Kynes
This bus begins at Ashton Keynes, then calling at South Cerney, Cirencester and Colesbourne, before arriving at College. The bus then follows this route in reverse in the evening, for pupils wishing to use the service to travel home once the school day has ended.
Route D - Nailsworth
This bus route starts at Nailsworth, then calling at Woodchester, Stroud, Bisley, The Camp and Birdlip, before reaching College. The bus then offers the same journey in reverse once the school day has finished.
Route E - Gloucester
This bus starts at Gloucester, then calling at Innsworth, Churchdown, Shurdington and Leckhampton, before arriving at College. The bus then provides the same journey in reverse once the school day has finished.
