On Wednesday 11th September, the Greenpower Team ventured north to the famous Aintree Motor Racing Circuit.
With developments and modifications made to the car, expectations were high and we were looking for a top three finish. It is fair to say that the weather was not kind - with heavy downpours of rain, gusty winds and cold conditions, racing was very difficult.
The team were resolute! Considering the tough racing conditions, they worked incredibly hard and supported each other tremendously to make the day a huge success. After two races, CLC finished 5th in their class.
The fastest driver of the day was Minnie in UC4 – some superb driving!
Although we did not achieve a top 3 finish, this was a truly amazing result for our first year racing.
