On Monday 20th November, College hosted a Cheltenham Education Partnership (CEP) finance talk for pupils. 30 SFC1s were joined by pupils from other Cheltenham secondary schools to hear about; money mindset, payslips and tax, financing through and beyond university, and an introduction to investing.
The talk was delivered by Abigail Foster, founder of Elent Finance Education. Abi is a young finance professional and alongside her training also utilises social media (Instagram / TikTok) and other channels to help reach and educate young people on all things finance.
It was a wonderful and relatable talk, with the pupils taking lots away.
