On Monday evening, Grace (UC4), Sochi (UC4), Mimi (LC3), Abby (LC3), Vanessa (SFC2), Janice (SFC1), Belen (UC4) and Kate (UC4) joined students from several Cheltenham schools to share their original poetry as part of this year’s Young Poets Programme.
Over the coming weeks, the poets will continue developing and performing their work as they compete for a coveted place in the grand finale Poetry Slam, which CLC is delighted to be hosting on Tuesday 5th May. The event will open with a performance by world‑renowned, award‑winning poet Dean Atta.
