On Thursday 11th December, the Princess Hall was filled with festive joy and excitement once again as the Music Department brought to us the annual CLC Christmas Concert, showcasing the talent and hard work of more than 200 pupils.
You can watch the Christmas Concert on our YouTube channel below:
Each year, LC1 and LC2 enjoy decorating Lower Hall with Christmas decorations.
Students wrote their wishes on baubles and decorated the tree together, filling the room with festive fun and cheer.
On Monday 8th December, students and staff enjoyed dressing up in Christmas jumpers - a great way to get into the festive spirit!
Later in the day, the festivities continued with a College favourite - Santa’s Grotto. Students had the opportunity to take photos with Father Christmas and Mrs Claus! It wasn't long after, when the whole grotto started a Conga Line!
During our last week of term, students and staff also got to enjoy the annual House Christmas Cake Competition.
The cakes were judged by a team of staff who were once again amazed by the creativity of all the entries.
Following the competition, the cakes were donated to the Cheltenham Foodbank.

The Religious Studies and Philosophy Department once again held a Christingle Service in the Quiet Room.
A Christingle service explores important themes about light overcoming darkness and gives the girls an opportunity to reflect on the message of hope shared at Christmas. May they shine brightly as lights in our world.
Students have been busy in the last week of term in the food and nutrition department with Christmas baking.
In LC1, chocolate truffles were made. LC2 made scones and shaped them into Christmas trees. LC3 made decorated biscuits and produced their own puff pastry that they turned into chocolate stars. GCSE students had fun making Yule logs and profiteroles that they made into Christmas trees and wreaths, and topped with homemade caramel.
Plenty of Christmas cheer and songs made this a lovely week to get into the Christmas spirit!

On the last day of term, Friday 12th December, our annual Carol Service took place. This was a fantastic service filled with joyous carols that truly got everyone in the Christmas spirit.
