The CLC Greenpower Race Team made an electrifying trip to Liverpool to compete in the Greenpower heat at the iconic Aintree circuit, and what a performance they delivered!
Competing in two fiercely contested races, the team secured third and forth place finishes, marking their best results to date. In a thrilling second race, they narrowly missed out on a podium finish by just one lap, ultimately placing a very respectable forth.
What truly stood out, was the incredible organisation, teamwork, and determination shown by every member of the team. From pit stops to race strategy, the students demonstrated professionalism and passion in equal measure.
Mr Plimmer, Head of EET, shared his pride:
“The team has been phenomenal! Their dedication and collaborative spirit have been inspiring and I couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved.”
As the 2024-25 season draws to a close, the team signs off with a string of success stories and memories to be proud of. But this isn’t the end, a brand-new 2025-26 team will soon be ready to take the track by storm.
