Welcoming students back to College, brimming with excitement for the year ahead, is always one of the most joyful times of the academic year. Another highlight is the annual Activities Fair.
The Fair, which all students are invited to attend, showcases the clubs on offer at College. This year, over 70 teachers represented every department, over 100 clubs promoted their activities, and over 40 students came along to promote 30 of our student-led clubs.
We had a phenomenal turnout, and the event was enjoyed by all. While the SOCS opened to students on Sunday 7th September, needless to say, there has been a flurry of sign-ups after the Fair as students decide which co-curricular activities they want to take part in and enjoy each week.
If the success of the event can be measured by the smiles on our pupils’ faces, the racing around from stall to stall, and the spontaneous singing on stage at the Princess Hall (PH), then it was nothing short of a smash hit!
