Oxford University Computing Challenge

This is an invitation-only challenge for talented computational thinkers in the UK, that requires them to solve a variety of tasks with programmed solutions.  

Sixty students across College received an invitation as a result of their high-scoring performance on the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge taken earlier in the academic year.

Congratulations to Sophie and Karen (LC1) for achieving Distinctions in the Junior division and to Giselle and Audrey (UC5) for achieving Merits in the Senior division.

Perse Computing Team Challenge

The Perse Coding Team Challenge is a programming competition for UK and International schools. In Round One, students compete in pairs to solve problems using a programming language such as Python.

These teams achieved Distinctions: Karen (LC1) and Theodora (LC2), Audrey and Giselle (UC5), Chloe and Jenny (UC5), Kjersten and Marta (UC4).

The following teams achieved Merits: Sasha and Mofe (UC5), Christy and Si (UC5), Tiffany and Maegan (UC4), Jessie and Janice (UC4), Kelly and Sophia (UC4), Chloe and Adele (UC4), Amelia and Alice (UC4).

The following achieved Higher Participation: Sonia and Hope (UC5), Varvara and Scarlett (UC4), Serafina, Cloris and Sabrina (UC4), who teamed up to achieve a Distinction in round 1 and a place in the final round where they each joined a different pair of UC5s.
