College has been fortunate to welcome a number of inspirational speakers throughout the course of the academic year 2021-22.
Some of the talks form part of College's Wellbeing Programme, including Gina Martin who is best known for founding and running the national campaign to make up-skirting illegal, and Leila Hassan Howe who gave a fascinating talk about her life as a black British civil rights activist.
Our Forum42 Programme gives also features talks from speakers to inspire the minds of our young Scholars. Speakers have included Angela Findlay, who gave an insightful talk about the benefits of using art therapy within the prison system, and Adam Dobby who talked about his life and work as a war journalist and photographer. The Professional Guidance Centre also arranges a busy schedule of speakers who offer an invaluable insight into many varied career paths, and workshops and webinars run by speakers from local enterprises and universities from the UK and abroad.
