International Society, lovingly known as ‘InterSoc’, is run each year by a committee of SFC2 students. This year’s committee worked hard and collaboratively to stage a wonderful gala event on Saturday 8th November in the Princess Hall.
Over 400 students, many in wonderful national dress, attended the spectacular show, which featured an international fashion parade, solo singers, bands and dance troupes from all year groups. Many diverse cultures and traditions were represented, from across the globe.
The gala showcase came at the end of International Week, which featured a wonderfully colourful International Mufti Day.
In addition to the marvellous acts, the audience was treated to snacks and hot food from many different cultures.
Congratulations to our three MCs, to the committee, and to all the performers for producing such a memorable evening!
