The new LC1 (Year 7) students had an introduction to the Biology Department on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th September. Biology-based fun was the aim of the evening and an opportunity for the new LC1 cohort to meet their biology teachers and the Sixth Form Academic Reps.
The sessions started with an animal guessing game and a bit of scientific enquiry. Then the girls got their hands dirty making planters for their labs which introduced them to some native British plant species, and finally biology-based cake decorating (and eating).
