On Tuesday 18th November, the Religious Studies and Philosophy Department took LC1 pupils on a trip to Gloucester Mosque.
Read on for highlights from the day from one of our pupils.
“I loved the Gloucester Mosque trip and I found it very interesting. The Imam was so lovely and knowledgeable and he was able to answer all of our questions.
We started the day with a PowerPoint presentation, which I learnt lots of facts from, and then we were shown the different areas of the mosque. The Imam then showed us how Muslims wash before prayer.
Did you know Islam is the second largest religion in the world?
We said goodbye to the Imam and then got back on the coach and had some biscuits before heading back to College.
Overall this trip was great, it was really relaxed and fun. I would recommend it to any future LC1s."
