The LC3 Scholars’ Recital this year was a terrific occasion with a wonderfully supportive audience. The event took place in the Princess Hall on Tuesday 9th May with many staff, parents and peers turning up to support the wonderful group of LC3 Music Scholars.
The programme performed by the girls was varied both in instrumentation and composers, with a varied spread of pieces ranging from Mozart, Bach and Handel to Jean-Michel Damase, Anthony Le Fleming and Sarasate, all performed to great acclaim.
The standard of the girls’ performances this year was extremely high. They played with composure and a great sense of stage presence, which is certainly most encouraging for their development over the coming years. Well done to everyone for a spectacular concert!
