On May Bank Holiday Monday, 55 LC3s attended the Buena Vista Social Club Concert at the Jazz Festival after enjoying a yummy Burrito from Paparrito’s, which was specially delivered to the Big Top for us!
Buena Vista Social Club is a legendary Cuban band that started in Havana in the late 90s. Their original musicians were veterans that had been retired for years before finding global fame. The concert was truly thrilling and we all felt really uplifted! Students ended up dancing some salsa before heading back to College for Lesson 5!
